Why join the u3a? A short animated film

You don't need educational qualifications to join the u3a, there is no age limit but most members are retired or semi retired and with plenty of time on their hands. If you want to meet other people to develop your interests or activities then the u3a may be the organisation for you.

Being a member means that you will be able to attend our monthly talks, join as many of our groups as you want and go on visits. We meet on the last Wednesday of the month at New Brighton Cricket and Bowls Club, Rake Lane, at 10.30 am. We usually have a speaker and then refreshments.
There is an entrance fee of £3 and an annual subscription of £12 which is due in October. Come along and join in. You will also receive a monthly Newsletter by email to keep you connected to Wallasey u3a

In the Wallasey u3a we have 212 members and twenty three groups, who are the beating heart of the u3a, offering a wide range of interests for everyone.

If you already belong to another u3a, our annual membership fee is reduced by the amount you have already paid payable to the Third Age Trust, so you will only pay £5 providing you can show proof of your existing u3a Membership. Some groups have a small additional charge to cover the cost of venue hire, printed matter and other expenses but other groups are free
You can also subscribe to the "Third Age Matters" magazine that is published quarterly, for an additional £4.20 a year.
