Welcome to our Book Club page
1st WEDNESDAY OF THE MONTH, 2-4pm, TELEGRAPH PUB, MT PLEASANT ROAD, NEW BRIGHTON
The book club is being run along very flexible lines and hopefully will evolve with members' input.
It is basically a group of people meeting monthly to discuss a book chosen by a majority of members, a member's individual suggestion or by putting suggestions on a table to be picked at random.
Whichever way it is hoped that a good-natured, interesting discussion can take place and that members can share their ideas, contributing to the conversation about the current book, suggesting others and general related book discussion.
The next book choices (based on members suggestions) take us up to June 2026.

It is necessary for members to source the books chosen themselves from the variety of formats available in libraries, second-hand bookshops, ordinary book retailers and failing all this, material on the internet.
