What we do - Country walks, usually 4-6 miles at a fairly relaxed pace. When - Saturday mornings, fortnightly, usually taking a packed lunch
Where - Wirral. Cheshire, Liverpool area and North Wales (Our arrangements are emailed to members a few days before) Our usual meeting point is St Georges Road by St Mary`s College, from where we can share cars to the start of the walk. We travel up to about 35 miles and each contributing to the drivers milage expenses. On each programme we aim to include walks using public transport.

Although we still have a long list of members, our regular numbers are around 8 to 12. We have been welcoming new members and naturally some members become less active. We work well as a team, planning walks together every six months or so, and our programme has to be flexible as we have to take in to account weather conditions etc.

If the advertised walk is impossible for any reason, members are advised of the alternative walk by Lesley`s email. This is also very useful for advising members of footware, food etc required on the day.
