We have a new group called PubBuddies. It will be like our BusBuddies in that we can still use our Mersey Travel card to go for coffee or even a cheap pub lunch, with particular focus on the Wetherspoons that are situated on a bus route or near a station for easy access.
PubBuddies will involve less walking than BusBuddies so will suit those of us who still want the social aspect of BusBuddies. It will act as a coffee get together but you can obviously also buy a meal if you want to.
At Wetherspoons you can buy a coffee for about £1.81 at the bar and continue to refill your mug all day at the machine if you want to. You do not have to buy a meal to get free coffee refills at Wetherspoon.
